A Little Bit of Good News in Real Estate We came across one of the few positive signs for the real estate market we have seen in the last few years. In a Wall Street Journal article, " Housing Takes Baby Steps", it appears that the overhanging inventory of unsold homes is declining - from over 11 months supply to about 8.4. It also appears that the "shadow inventory" of homes for sale, those that are about to come on the market, is also down.
